The Ministry of Natural Resources is reminding the public to be safe this hunting season. The MNR say to make sure you are never carrying around a loaded firearm in your vehicle and to always be aware of your target and what’s beyond it. Conservation Officer from the MNR in Kapuskasing, Dan Dufour says hunters should always have their license and a map in case they get lost.  Dufour says there are no major changes in restrictions this year that residents need to be aware of this hunting season.
