Adult Learning Centres offer preparation course ahead of your G1 test

You can take some of the stress out of finally getting your driver’s licence.

The Adult Learning Centres in Iroquois Falls and Cochrane are offering a G1 test preparation workshop.

Executive director Sara Haldenby says it goes through the driver’s handbook and potential test

“We teach them what the real right-of-way means, and give them some situational examples and what to do in those situations,” she says, acknowledging that you don’t need to be the polite Canadian who waits for another driver to move first.

“This is intended for residents of Cochrane or Iroquois Falls,” notes Haldenby. “It’s an in-person training, but you need to be 18 years of age or older.”

That last requirement is because the government funds the centres for adults.

There’s no charge for the course. More details are available at either learning centre site
