Residents of Iroquois Falls get an in-person update on the new South Centennial Manor long-term care home later this month.
MICs health care services CEO Paul Chatelain says it’s planned for 6:00pm on Tuesday, May 28th in the auditorium at IFSS.
He says there’s a lot to update following the recent provincial budget. It extended the deadline to be shovel-ready to November 30th.
Chatelain says new construction timelines will also be discussed.

“We’ll have the architect there to talk about the working drawings,” he notes, “and of course, the much needed fundraising campaign that is going to be unveiled.”
Chatelain anticipates the two-year construction project to begin in spring, 2025.
