Kurtis David’s personal project is to collect winter clothing for Cochranites

Cochrane’s Kurtis David is a man on a mission: to make sure everyone in the Rail Town stays warm this winter.  His personal project is personal project to gather winter clothing for the Cochrane Food Bank.  He says it’s his way of giving back to the community.

“I’m looking for anything from winter jackets, say snow pants, socks, blankets, boots, toques, mitts, anything that will keep people warm,” David remarks.

You can drop off donations at the Westway Motel until the first of December.  David recognizes that the clothing might be needed before then.

“If I do get enough of the clothing,” he pledges, “I will definitely get on the cleaning of the winter clothing and definitely start making donations as soon as possible.”

David’s also looking for someone to help get jackets dry cleaned.  And he’s rallying troops for door-to-door pick-up of donations on Saturday, November 7th.
