(NHL) The Vegas Golden Knights beat the Boston Bruins 3-1 last night. In other action the LA Kings edged the Islanders 3-2 and Buffalo skated to a 3-1 win over Anaheim.
(NFL) The Green Bay Packers lost more than the game yesterday, Minnesota beat the packers 23-10 but Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered a broken collarbone and team doctors say there is a chance he could miss the rest of the season. Elsewhere Miami surprised Atlanta 20-17, New Orleans crushed Detroit 52-38, Pittsburgh upset Kansas City 19-13 and the Giants won their first game of the season 23-10 over Denver.
(MLB) In baseball the LA Dodgers beat the Chicago Cubs 4-1 yesterday to take a 2-0 lead in the NL Championship Series.
(MLS) Toronto FC ran to a 1-0 victory over the Montreal Impact yesterday, tying a league record for single-season points in the process. With the win Toronto gets the Supporters’ Shield trophy that goes to the MLS team that tops the regular season standings.
