A new forest fire has been located in the northeast, bringing the total to seven. The hazard for the Timmins area is rated as high, but no fire bans are in effect as yet. The largest fire in the area is Cochrane 11, which is currently being observed at 15 hectares. Campers are reminded to be careful with their campfires, and to always practice fire safety while out in the woods.
