Driver from Southern Ontario facing charges after being stopped in Cochrane area

A Scarborough man is up on several charges after a traffic stop by OPP in Hanna Township just south of Cochrane Friday morning.

Police investigation revealed that the driver who identified with an alias to police was found to have two driving suspensions, despite never having a license.

The 25 year old from Scarborough is charged with two counts of failure to comply with a probation order, operation of a motor vehicle while permitted., obstruct a police officer, driving a vehicle with no license, driving under suspension and speeding going 34 kilometres over the posted limit.
