Bankruptcy proceedings for Validus Power Corportation have been adjourned while more information is gathered. Early last month, Macquarie Equipment Finance Limited asked for the appointment of a receiver, after equipment rental installments were not paid,   as well as other financial issues.
Validus Power operates co-generation plants and plans data centres in Iroquois Falls and Kapuskasing. The plants in both communities are currently being operated by a receiver. Moose FM news has learned that the next step for both plants will be discussed soon.
We have reached out to both Validus CEO Todd Shortt, and the receiver for comment, but phone calls and emails have not been returned.
