2017 got off to a deadly start in the northeast. A snowmobile operator has died east of Sudbury after the sled crashed Monday afternoon. Police say the driver died at the scene. The cause of the crash hasn’t been released yet. Police are holding off on releasing the victim’s name until next of kin have been notified.
