Local police officers are reminding residents to lock their vehicles after receiving reports of theft over the past couple of months. This comes in the middle of the OPP’s Crime Prevention week focusing on planning together for safer communities. Officers throughout the region say it’s important to never leave keys inside your vehicle, keep valuables out of sight and to lock it, or lose it.
