Three people from Central Ontario were arrested by Ontario Provincial Police for drug trafficking after a stop on Queen Street in Kapuskasing on Tuesday afternoon.
During the investigation police seized drugs suspected to be fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, cocaine, crack cocaine, and Percocets.
A quantity of Canadian Currency, three cell phones and four knives were also recovered by police. The total value of the seizure was estimated at $80,000. The three men are facing two counts each of possession of an opioid and possession of cocaine, one count of possession of methamphetamine, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.
One of the person’s is also charged with failure to comply with an undertaking, while another for breach of recognizance.
