Police and the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office are investigating a house fire in Harty yesterday. The blaze broke out at a home on Highway 11 around 4 pm. One person was injured and transported to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The cause and origin of the fire is still under investigation with the assistance of the North East Region Forensic Identification Service and the James Bay Detachment Crime Unit.
