One person is confirmed dead following that house and garage fire in Fournier Township West of Cochrane early Wednesday morning.
No cause of the fire has been determined. The blaze broke out shortly after 4 am and was noticed by an OPP officer on patrol.
Now assisting in the investigation are the Northeast Region OPP Forensic Identification Service, the James Bay Detachment Crime Unit, the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office, the Ontario Coroner’s Office and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
