A 45-year-old Moroccan resident faces charges in connection to bomb threats made against schools across Ontario, including our broadcast region.
On November 1st, Ontario Provincial Police say multiple schools and other public facilities in the province received threats that bombs were located at their locations.
The threats also included demands for money but no bombs were ever actually discovered.
OPP and Belgian police worked together on the investigation resulting in charges being laid.
