Northern Corridor’s finding Rudolph campaign a hit

The Northern Corridor Chamber of Commerce Finding Rudolph Campaign was another success. That’s according to chamber spokesperson Donna Todd. She says the contest was well received by both businesses and local residents across the region.

“In Kapuskasing we had 35 merchants, in Hearst we had 19 merchants and in Cochrane we had 16,” she said. “And we’re looking forward to doing it again next year.”

It was the first year that Cochrane and Smooth Rock Falls were involved in the campaign that encourage people to visit the stores, make a purchase and then fill out ballots to win daily and weekly prizes.

“Adding Cochrane and Smooth Rock Falls to the mix is very great for the Cochrane Board of Trade and the Northern Corridor Chamber of Commerce,” she said. “It’s a great partnership that we had and they’re receptive to participating next year.”

This year $1,000 in chamber bucks were handed out to winners in Kapuskasing, Hearst and Cochrane.
