Over 10,000 smiles lit up Iroquois Falls last week. That’s how many Tim Hortons smile cookies were sold for a dollar, with all the money going to Access Transit. It’s the bus service for seniors and anyone with mobility issues.
The organization says 16 adults and nine students volunteered to decorate the cookies.
In four years of its association with the campaign, Access Transit has profited to the tune of $34,000.
