The times have been set for Cochrane Town Council’s public open house, to discuss the future of the Polar Bear Habiat.
It’s set for this Wednesday 2:00pm and 4:00pm and 7:00 and 9:00pm in the community hall at the Tim Horton Event Centre.
The invitation for the open house emphasizes that it is not a formal meeting. It’s intended for mayor and council to listen to your opinion about the proposed closure.
It also asks you to be ready to indicate how much tax money you think should be dedicated to operations, should the Habitat remain open, and what you think the town’s financial priorities should be.
