We’re sneaking up on the final weekend before Halloween, so it’s a busy time for celebrations..
Kids between the ages of eight and 16 can get their spooky party on, Friday night at the Scout Hall in Cochrane.
The Scouts’ group commissioner, Crystal Burkholder, says the youth Halloween dance is on from 7:00 until 11:00pm. Advance tickets are available at Heavener’s for $5.00. It’s $7.00 at the door.
“We do have a DJ that’ll be there,” Burkholder advises. “We have healthy snacks for free and then there’ll be junk food available for purchase.”

Money raised selling tickets and junk food will be put to good use.
“The proceeds from this dance are going to go towards some of the Scouts getting their standard first aid,” says Burkholder.
