The Mill Market is back in Iroquois Falls for a fourth year.
Market manager Jennifer Cadeau says it will be open Saturday, June 22nd from 9:00am until 1:00pm, and every Saturday up to and including October 5th.
“You have your farmers, you have your artisans, you have your crafters, your bakers,” Cadeau says, adding that there could be some surprises, with other vendors and activities around the market. It’s at the former Star Transfer garage, near the golf club.
Cadeau is hoping to attract more vendors by lowering the table fee and adopting an honour system.
“The base fee is going to $15 for your table,” she notes, “and then we’re going to ask the vendors to be honest and if they had a good day, then to contribute a little bit more and if they didn’t, then that’s fine.”
Cadeau says the market has been a success because it has been well supported by vendors and shoppers.
