NewsWanted Hearst Man Arrested After Fleeing Police SHARE ON: Nick Birnie, contributor, Friday, Jun. 16th, 2017The OPP have arrested a Hearst man on charges of assault after an attempt to flee Police.Officers say they noticed a 34-year-old man walking along Front Street in Hearst who was wanted for multiple offences around 7:30pm on June 13th.Police say as they attempted to arrest the man he fled into the downtown area on foot before being caught following a short chase.The OPP says the man is being charged for two counts of assault as well as uttering threats of death or bodily harm.The accused is to appear in court on June 14th in Cochrane.
