New Mining Opportunity On The Horizon For Hearst And The Surrounding Area

There is a new mining operation coming to Hearst.

Zenyatta Ventures were guest speakers at the 55^th Annual General Meeting in Kapuskasing Wednesday, to talk about their new mining project.

Vice President of Corporate Communications at Zenyatta ventures Mara Strazdins says the main benefits will be 200 to 300 direct jobs.

She says there will be clear economic benefits for the community at large.

Strazdins says the project is in opening stages and is looking to break ground within the next two to three years.
