Francophone entrepreneurs in Northern Ontario are getting a financial boost from the government.

Sudbury MP Paul Lefebvre was at Fromagerie Kapuskoise Wednesday morning in Kapuskasing to announce a $500,000 government investment.

Lefebvre says the success in job creation of the Entrepreneur Francophone Plus Initiative is noticeable.

Lefebvre says the program is key to the continued development of the area economically.

North Claybelt President Gilbert Peters says it is their recent success that has earned them this continued investment.

Peters also says the funding will keep the program alive moving forward.

Peters says considering all of this, the future looks very bright for the program moving forward.
