Canada defeated Sweden 5-2 last night to advance to the gold medal game at the World Junior Championship. Canada will face the United States tonight in Montreal.
Last night in the NHL,  Max Pacioretty scored the overtime winner for the second night in a row as the Montreal Canadiens beat  the Dallas Stars 4-3, Winnipeg spanked Florida 4-1, Vancouver shut out Arizona 3-0 and Calgary skated to a 4-1 win over Colorado.
