NEW INVESTMENT FOR BEHAVIORAL SUPPORTS

The NE LHIN is investing in more Behavioral Supports Ontario front line workers. Through investments the LHIN has been able to hire 70 BSO workers across the region and provide training to over 7,000 people working in the field. Communities from Kapusksing to Temiskaming and Cochrane along with many others will benefit from this new funding. BSO workers provide support for older adults who may have dementia, poor mental health, substance abuse problems or neurological conditions.
