A new study shows that property taxes in Northern Ontario are the fastest growing in the province. That’s according to the Fraser Institute, who says the annual rate in Timmins is up by 5.7 per cent which is the highest in the province. The rates for Kapuskasing and Cochrane were not released, but five out of the top ten communities in the study are in the north.
