New information about FedNor’s budget is coming out, something that is being called a stunning admission. Cuts to the agency’s budget happened under the Stephen Harper government, and will be maintained under the Trudeau government. Timmins-James Bay MP Charlie Angus is now demanding to know how this is happening. He says too many projects aimed at improving the lives of Northerners are being sidelined. He says this shows the government doesn’t understand the realities of the north.
