If you’re new to town or looking for something to do, the Town of Cochrane is having welcoming party. Next Thursday, at the Tim Horton Events Centre, the first annual Welcome to Cochrane Reception will be taking place. Economic Development Officer for the Town of Cochrane, Isabelle Denault says the event is meant for new comers, but even long term residents might find something new. There will be not-for-profit organizations, sports and recreational clubs and local churches and volunteers groups at the event to showcase some of what the town has to offer. There’s no cost to come out and attend.
