The annual Hempfest is a pro-marijuana festival that takes place in Moonbeam. Head of the festival Robert Neron says although it is a pro-marijuana festival you don’t have to smoke to come out and enjoy. He says it’s just like a hockey game where you don’t have to play the sport to enjoy watching. Tickets are $40 for the whole week which includes camping and the live entertainment. Neron says it is a not-for-profit event with and they are hoping to have a big turn out this year. Everyone is welcome to come to Hempfest but anyone under the age of 18 will need the approval of a parent or guardian.
