TIM HUDAK RETIRING FROM POLITICS

The former leader of the Ontario Tories is retiring.  Tim Hudak is giving up his seat September 16 th  so he can take over as the CEO of the Ontario Real Estate Association.   Hudak was first elected to office in 1995 during the Mike Harris Common Sense Revolution.   He was 27 at the time and after becoming Premier, Harris didn’t wait long appointing Hudak the minister of northern development.        Hudak held other portfolios under the Harris administration.  He became P-C leader in 2009 and ran two unsuccessful campaigns to defeat the Liberals.
