Josh Donaldson hit two home runs and scored four times as the Blue Jays beat Kansas City 8-3 last night R.A. Dickey struck out eight to earn his first win of the year at Rogers Centre. Also last night, Toronto’s Josh Donaldson, Edwin Encarnacion and Marco Estrada were selected to the American League All-Star team.
Canada beat Turkey  77-69 on the opening day of the FIBA Olympic basketball qualifying tournament. A win over Senegal later this morning will secure Canada a spot in the semifinals.
