The Kapuskasing Recreation and Culture Committee will be testing the waters with the public on the prospect of a new pool.  The NOHFC has approved $1-million in funding for the project, something the town’s CAO Yves Labelle was quick to point out is a good sign.  Recreational funding can be hard to come by on a provincial and federal level.  The committee has prepared a survey which will be going through town council before it will be mailed out and available online.  The committee has a tentative plan to hold a public meeting once the surveys are completed.
