One of the largest winter carnivals in the province kicked off this weekend with the Chimo Princess Pageant in Cochrane. If you missed out on the event, there’s more to come as visitors from all over the region will be paying a visit. The winter carnival in its 54th year of operation and runs right through until February 15th. Hockey tournaments, live performances and snowmobile races are all being held by the town.
