Get in touch with your senses during March Break activity at Cochrane Public Library

It’s all about the human senses, during an activity at the Cochrane Public Library this March Break.

Program services coordinator Heather Brouwer says it happens every day at 1:00pm until Saturday.

“We’re talking about smell, touch, hearing, sight and taste,” she outlines. “We’re reading a story and doing a couple kind of experiments to go along with each sense.”

“On Friday, for the sense of taste, we’re going to be combining flavours to make some new flavours of our own. And on Saturday, as part of our bonus senses, we might learn a couple magic tricks to see if we can trick some of our senses.”

The free activity is aimed at four- to ten-year-olds, but Brouwer says anyone is welcome to take part. And it’s free.
