Ontario Power Generation is reporting in their winter update that construction at the Little Long Generating Station northeast of Kapuskasing is over 96 per cent complete.
In the report, four more sluice gates have been added to the Adam Creek structure bring the total number of gates from the original eight to 12.
Project manager Tranal Chow says once the remaining sluice gate work is complete the focus will move to site rehabilitation phase.
He adds that OPG will continue to manage water safety at the generating stations and control structures.
