Parent Involvement Committee back at DSB-1

The English public school board in our region is tonight holding its first meeting of the school year of its Parent Involvement Committee, on Microsoft Teams.

The administrator responsible for it is DSB-1 superintendent of education Steve Pladzyk.

“The Parent Involvement Committee is another level of communication that allows parents to be involved at a higher level,” he outlines, “to have their voices heard and to bring information back to their parent councils at the school level.”

Parent council members sit on the council and chair it.  Administrators and trustees are there as resource people.

You can be an observer.

“There may be a component for parents to be able to type in questions into the chat for example,” says Pladzyk,” that we could either try to answer or make note of and answer at a later time.”

You can get the Teams link at the board’s website.
