It’s a total mystery to the people at the Iroquois Falls Museum, who the family is in this week’s photo.
Volunteer Danny McIntyre says there’s nothing at all written on the back of it.
“Probably from the 50s and 60s from looking at the style of clothing and that,” he surmises. “We don’t know who it is.”
Take a look. If you know who it is, contact the museum on its Facebook page.
Meanwhile, McIntyre has a request. As much as possible when donating photos to the museum, label who’s in them.
“Do it for your own children and grandchildren, so when they look back at family pictures, the can roll over and say ‘Hey, that’s Grandpa Joe’ or Grandma Susie or whatever. It’s a nice project to do with the older members of your family.”
The sooner, the better, while those family members and their memories are still with us.
