The North East Local Health Integration Network is celebrating 40 years of work within Francophone communities. Forty one healthcare providers from Hearst to Cochrane have been honoured as part of the celebration. The LHIN’s Director of Community Engagement, Cynthia Stables says it’s a huge milestone for healthcare providers here. She says the first healthcare provider to ever receive the designation for working under the French Services Act was Notre Dame Hospital in Hearst.
