MAKING THE SPRING BEAR HUNT PERMANENT

Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli wants the spring bear hunt to be reinstated permanently.  He says communities like Cochrane and Iroquois Falls struggle with the problem of nuisance bears, and it ties up police resources and taxpayer dollars.  The deadline for public comment on extending the hunt by five years is coming up.  People have until November 30th to provide their input.  Visit the Ontario government’s website for more information.
