Input sought for recreation master plan

Cochranites are being invited to provide input into a ten-year recreation master plan for the town.

Community services director Jason Boyer says a meeting has been set for Tuesday, October 19th at the Commando Pavilion for that purpose.

He calls it a document that will be by the community, for the community.

“Input from the community is the most important part of the whole plan. We will take emerging trends and demographics and we’ll put that information into the plan as well,” Boyer remarks.

“We really need to hear from our community and have them voice their opinion as to what works well, what needs to be improved, what they’re looking for in the future and then we will put that all in a plan it will grow with the community over the next ten years.”

The meeting on the 19th is at 6:00pm at the Commando Pavilion.
