The Porcupine Health Unit says two new cases have been identified in Timmins. One was in contact with another case, the other cause is being investigated. Number 298 is in that Hearst-Hornepayne corridor, the result of an institutional outbreak. And 299 is in the Kapuskasing area, from contact with an earlier identified case. Another COVID-19 case has popped up in Porcupine Health Unit territory. It says case number 295 is in the Hearst-Hornepayne area, the result of coming into contact with another case.As of today, there are 42 active case in the region. Thirty-three of them are in Kapuskasing and the other nine in that Hearst-Hornepayne corridor.
