Living Nativity scene goes mobile this year

The pandemic is preventing Glad Tidings Community Church from bringing people to its annual living Nativity scene… so it’s bringing the Nativity scene to the people.

Organizer Kayla Tousignant says it will be part of the Christmas parade in Cochrane on December 10th.

“So we’re going to have a big float with all the characters on the float and some of the kids will be dressed up as animals and angels and just different characters from the Nativity story,” she says.

“If anybody wants to volunteer to be a character in our float for the parade, they can definitely do that and they can contact me on Facebook under Kayla Tousignant.”

There’s also an attempt under way to assemble video and photos of last year’s living Nativity into a video presentation to post online.
