Fresh from the Farm market director Heather Brouwer says the Saturday market at the Cochrane fairground has been so successful… “That our vendors and customers have both kind of decided or agreed that adding an extra date would be wonderful.”
So that’s what’s happening. Starting this Thursday, the market will run from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.
Brouwer says all the safety protocols will be in place, so masks and hand sanitizing.
Brouwer says that true to form for a farmers market, the available items keep changing.
“We did have the bison ranch come out and they are going to start being a regular at the market. And into September, we will also have a trout farm coming with some fresh trout.”
Both sessions of the market – Thursday and Saturday – will run until Thanksgiving.
