It could be a while before Hwy. 655 opens up again, between Driftwood and the Kidd mine.
Rain has washed out the roadway. So if you’re headed to Timmins, you’ll have to take Highway 11 past Porquis, Municipal Road and Highway 101.
Provincial police say it could be an extended period of time before 655 opens again.
