Cochrane Public Library expands curbside pick-up of borrowed books

Curbside pick-up of materials from the Cochrane Public Library has been so well received, it’s being expanded from four hours a week to 18.

Ardis Proulx-Chedore, assistant to the library CEO, says that’s effective Tuesday.

“Instead of being open just the Tuesday and the Thursday between two and four,” she outlines, “we’re now going to be open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10am to 4pm for curbside pick-up.”

The library itself can’t open to the public because of COVID-19.

“People still need to wait for us to call them and let them know to pick up,” Proulx-Chedore says. “They can’t just show up at the library.  That’s the most important thing.  But order your books because we want you to.”

You can see the full catalogue on the library’s website, then order books for pick-up via telephone or email.
