Chalk up another COVID-19-related cancellation.
Cochrane Gamekeepers Club president Eric Mercier says the annual Sportsman’s Show has to take the year off.
It was set for May 9th and 10th.
“So it’s still a month away, but the way things are going don’t seem too promising right now, so we decided to cancel it,” he tells My Cochrane Now Dot com.
“It’s unfortunate but for everyone’s safety and government ruling, we decided to cancel the show.”
Mercier says none of the exhibitors are surprised. And so far, he adds, there should be a show next year.
