They are drawing attention to the illegal driving habits by doing a distracted driving blitz. It’s starting on Saturday and running all week. The law covers a bunch of areas, not just texting. Also included is setting a GPS or dialling a phone number. Fines for distracted driving are almost 300-dollars, and could end in a careless driving charge.
