$48,000+ raised during Moose FM Caring Communities Radiothon

Cochrane and Iroquois Falls proved on Thursday that as communities, they really care.

That’s the assessment of MICs Group of  Hospitals CEO Paul Chatelain  in regards to yesterday’s Moose FM Caring Communities Radiothon.

Our Tim Rout hosted the twelve-hour event.

“This is the most successful Radiothon this station has ever done,” Tim said at the end of the Radiothon.  “Looking at $48,210.00. That’s our final tally. Wow! Thank you very much.”

All of that money will go towards up-to-date equipment for the labs at the hospitals in Iroquois Falls, Matheson and Cochrane.

“If you haven’t given yet,” Tim adds, “ by all means drop by the hospital later this week if you want to.  They will be happy to receive your donation.”

Among the notable single donations is one for $10,000.00 from the Lady Minto Hospital Auxiliary.

Moose FM morning man Tim Rout and Joan Parsons, president of the Lady Minto Hospital Auxiliary. Her organization contributed $10,000 to the Caring Communities Radiothon.
