Entertainment lined up for Community Café

The Christmas holidays are the theme of the second monthly Community Café in Cochrane Wednesday night.

Public library program coordinator Ardis Proulx-Chedore says performers are all lined up.

“We have Bob Lewis telling some folk tales.  He is very interesting to listen to,” she notes.  “We’ve also got Alex ‘Jo Jo’ Deblois.  He’s going to be playing some guitar music for us and I’m sure there’ll maybe be some Neil Diamond in there. He likes that.”

Kim Skidmore will provide some homemade treats, and beverages will be available.

“And then there’s some other people that’ll be doing some stories,” Proulx-Chedore adds, “and of course we’re going to be talking about library programs and services because that’s what we do.  So lots of interesting stuff happening.”

The café is open between 6:00pm and 8:00pm.  Proulx-Chedore invites anyone who wants to participate in upcoming monthly events to let her know.
