Five hot seats will be set up next Tuesday evening, October 8th at the Iroquois Falls Community Centre — one for each of the five Timmins-James Bay candidates in the October 21st federal election.
The local chamber of commerce is putting it. Marketing coordinator Danielle Rowan says it is not a debate.
“It’s pretty much just a meet the candidates”, she explains. “So it’ll be a town hall session. Candidates have opening comments and then there will be questions from the media and then questions from the floor.
“It’s free to attend. The doors open at 6:30pm and the meeting begins at 7:00.”
If you can’t make it out, there will be a live stream of the event.
