Murder mystery to take audience back to the 1950s

A murder mystery dinner theatre staged by the Cochrane Amateur Theatre Troupe at the end of November will take its audience back in time.

Director Margaret Burkholder says it’s called “The Fatal Fifties Affair”.

“It will unfold as a talk show, where mysterious things happen,” she synopsizes.

Audience members are welcome to wear 1950s costumes.  There will be prizes for the best ones.

Sticking with the mystery theme, is who will be in which roles.

“We just finished auditions and so we’re ruminating about who to put in which part,”says Burkholder.

“If there’s a gentleman out there that would love to try acting, we do have a part for a gentleman still available.”

The production happens on November 29th at Cadence Theatre, and on November 30th, although where has yet to be confirmed.
